Steve is still driving truck, but not at the moment. The weather in Idaho doesn't really allow him to have a local trucking job and we don't like having him on the road. The only truck he drives lately is his new pick-up truck.
Kim (me) is still working for her parents at Coastal Office Systems, Inc. I am also a full-time mom/guardian of 5 kids. I have tons of school projects to do every month. If any one needs ideas for 4th, 6th, 8th, 9th or 11th grade projects, I'm your woman! I am also the 10-11 year-old achivement day leader and, can't forget, the Primary Chorister. I am a very busy girl! I also read/listen to a new book every other day! My kids call me "book-a-day".
Derek is 14 1/2 and is dying to start driver's ed! (yikes!) He knows that he can't get his license until he gets his eagle, so he is working really hard. He will be getting his eagle sometime next year. He is a really good kid. He likes to watch all of the same TV shows that I do. It is a lot of fun to predict the ending together. He can text faster than anyone I know.
Brian is 13 1/2 and is seriously addicted to video games. Whenever he gets in trouble his punishment is time away from his games. This doesn't go over very well. He loves to make up his own games at his after-school class. Brian is quite a character.
Heather just turned 11. She is all girl! She loves make-up and boys. She has a celebrity crush on Justin Bieber. She is the youngest and shortest in her class. She had to get a bottom locker because she couldn't read the numbers on the lock on the top lockers. She is a straight A student and loves to help everyone. She can't wait until she is old enough to babysit (and get paid for it).
Chad is 9 1/2 and we call him our random child. He comes up with the most random things. He likes to make up stories or he will answer a question with a random comment. He loves to play video games, just like Brian (not as much). Chad is my loving kid. He still likes hugs and attention from mom and dad.
Cody is my nephew from Steve's side of the family. He moved in with us in June. He came for a visit and loved it here, so he asked to stay. He was baptized on September 4th. He got the priesthood a few weeks after that and is now the 2nd assistant in the Priest Quorum. He is quite a character. He keeps us all in stitches. He is showing Derek what it is like to have an older brother (good and bad).
That is just a quick overview of the Mason family. I promised my sisters that I would blog, and blog I will!
